Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on CNC Milling Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize our VMC milling (3 & 4 Axis) operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring efficiency, supervising manpower, and supporting CNC programming and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities :
- CNC Machining & Operations :
Hands-on experience with VMC milling machines (3 & 4 Axis), including machine setup and troubleshooting.
Optimize machining parameters to ensure high precision and efficiency.
Ensure proper fixture setup, tool selection, and calibration for various machining operations.
Monitor and troubleshoot any machine-related issues to reduce downtime and improve performance. - Production Management :
Oversee and manage the CNC milling production process, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
Maintain production logs, monitor output quality, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. - CNC Programming Support :
Provide basic CNC programming support and modify programs as required.
Work closely with the CAM programming team to optimize tool paths and reduce cycle time.
Ensure that all G-code and M-code programs are correctly implemented and documented. - Manpower & Team Management :
Supervise machine operators and technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety guidelines.
Train and mentor junior operators on CNC operations, tooling, and best practices.
Allocate work assignments based on skill levels and production priorities.
Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to enhance team productivity. - Tooling & Process Optimization :
Select the right cutting tools for different machining operations to ensure precision and efficiency.
Manage tool inventory and coordinate with suppliers for procurement.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance machine utilization and reduce cycle time.
Key Skills & Competencies :
- Proficiency in CNC machining, VMC milling (3 & 4 Axis)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of cutting tools, feed rates, and speeds for different materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and blueprints
- Knowledge of basic CNC programming (G-code & M-code)
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) – preferred
- Strong team leadership and manpower management skills
- Excellent organizational and production planning abilities
Qualifications & Experience :
- Education : BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
- Experience : 4-6 years of experience in CNC machining, setup, and troubleshooting
- Industry : Precision manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or related industries
