Job Description :
We are looking for a Vendor Development Manager to develop, manage and strengthen the company’s vendor network for manufacturing requirements. The candidate will work closely with procurement, production, engineering, quality, stores and suppliers to ensure the availability of quality materials and components at competitive costs and within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors based on manufacturing requirements
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers and ensure consistent performance
- Source vendors based on quality, cost, capacity, lead time, and technical capabilities
- Coordinate vendor quotations, negotiations, sample development, and production requirements
- Evaluate vendor capabilities, manufacturing processes, infrastructure, and quality systems
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery, cost, and overall performance
- Resolve supplier-related quality, technical, and delivery issues with internal teams
- Identify alternate suppliers and support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements :
- 3-4 years of experience in vendor development, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and supplier capabilities
- Strong knowledge of vendor evaluation, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier development
- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Excel and vendor management/procurement tools; knowledge of CNC machining, fabrication, sheet metal or die casting is an advantage.
